Ingredients
- 312g Greek yogurt, plain, nonfat
- 100g Raw blackberries
- 100g Raw blueberries
- 100g Raw strawberries
- 60g Old fashioned rolled oats
Method
- 1Start with a large bowl or tall glass (12-16 oz capacity). 2. Pour 4 oz (approximately 120ml) of the first container of plain nonfat Greek yogurt into the bottom as the base layer. 3. Top the yogurt with 30g of raw blackberries, spreading them evenly across the yogurt layer. 4. Add another 4 oz layer of Greek yogurt from the second container. 5. Layer 30g of raw blueberries on top of the second yogurt layer. 6. Add a third yogurt layer with the remaining yogurt (approximately 4 oz), creating a smooth, creamy middle section. 7. Top with 30g of fresh raw strawberries, distributing them evenly. 8. In a small dry skillet over medium heat, toast 60g of old-fashioned rolled oats for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become slightly golden and release a toasty aroma. Do not add any oil or butter—toasting dry enhances the nutty flavor. 9. Remove toasted oats from heat and let cool for 1 minute. 10. Sprinkle the warm toasted oats over the top of the parfait as the final crunchy layer. 11. Serve immediately while the oats are still warm and crunchy. The contrast of temperatures and textures enhances the eating experience.
